Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the trim clip and fastener kit. This is going to work for your BMW vehicles. It works for a lot of different models out there. It's a really handy thing to have if you are a BMW owner, or maybe if you have a shop where you're seeing a lot of different vehicles. You can have these, we have several different manufacturers that we have clips for.

So you can have a stack of these. They store pretty easy. The case is pretty nice and compact. So you can have a stack of these and it doesn't take up too much space. Or again, you can just stash this under your seat if you have a BMW yourself.A lot of the time you'll end up needing some new clips if you're putting any kind of wiring and you had to get back to the tail lights.

A lot of the time you'll have to pull some panels to do that. Or maybe you're running something up to the front, adding anything in. If you're putting a hitch on your vehicle and especially for a BMW, a lot of those can be hidden behind the fascia, or maybe you're flat towing or doing anything like that, you're going to end up pulling some of those clips. So this helps you to replace those, to make sure that those panels can all go back where they should.So let's take a look at what you actually get in the kit.So we get our little fasteners here. They're all organized.

And then you've got a picture for each one to remember what's what.So we've got this retaining clip. It's got two pieces. It's got like a little green hat for it. It's kind of a rubbery piece to go on the plastic there so it just goes in. So they're a retaining clip.Push type fastener.

So you've got two pieces to this as well, the top part, and then the little part that it fastens down into. So usually these push down into the clip and then it kind of expands those little prongs to hold it in place.A couple of other retaining clips, a different style here. It looks like that's just the one piece for those. You get quite a few of those. So those are probably going to be the most common that you have in your BMW.Got another two piece. This is another one that has a little part that pushes down in. These are pretty common for a lot of panels that are underneath the vehicle, especially if you're pulling anything off, trying to get in a wheel well, or something like that.Different type of push pin fastener. So it looks like this is all just one piece, but it pushes in and then those little prongs kind of expand out.And then you've got a round barrel nut. So some other materials might thread into this. I don't know if these. nope, those don't go together.Anyway, so that's what you get in the kit. It should be pretty close to OEM quality. They're all made of nylon. So, I mean, they're not going to be the most sturdy things. That's just kind of the nature of pushpins in general, even from the manufacturer. They're plastic basically. So you just want to treat them with care whenever you're putting them in place, especially if you're taking them out, you always want to save as many as you can, if you're doing any kind of work, but if you happen to break them, now you've got some spare so you can put those back in place.So if this has helped in deciding if this is the right kit for you.
