Today, we're going to take a look at the Performance Tool 200cc Extraction and Fill Pump. Now, this pump will help you remove fluids like brake fluid, coolant, gear oil, power-steering fluid prior to doing any vehicle repairs. Includes everything laid out here on the table. It includes the pump itself; two 7 1/2 inch long hoses, one of them is a 5/16ths diameter, another one's a 1/4 inch diameter hose; a 5/16ths to 1/4 inch coupler, this coupler offer you positive hose connections, very easy to remove and it comes as two extra O-rings.Now, on the pump itself, it's a trans sub, semi-transparent tube. Allows you to preview the fluid condition and the amount when you're extracting. Has a nice calibrated cylinder body here on the sides.
Marked with standard English on one side, metric on the other. Maximum capacity on this tube is 200cc or 6.7 ounces. On the very front right here, they use a 5/16ths quick grip hose coupler on the front of the cylinder, makes connecting your hoses very quick and easy.Basically, you just take your 5/16ths hose, just push it right in there, it locks into place and you're ready to go with no leaks. If need to remove it, just push down on that and you can pull it right out, so simple as that. Now, they do also offer an additional 5/16ths to 1/4 inch coupler here.
If you need to connect both hoses together for additional length, pop the cap off the 5/16ths, slide in the 5/16ths end, it connects, then take your 1/4 inch tubing, add that and I'll give you the extra length that's needed. Then, when you're done they just remove very simple. Again, if you notice they have caps on the ends of these hoses, that'll help prevent any fluid from coming out of the hoses.Just want to show it is a very easy disassembly, that if you just unscrew the top here, you can pull the plunger out and then you can clean it, change to a different fluid if you like. Now, the O-rings on here, they are lubricated. They do give you two extra O-rings if you need to replace them.
Once you tighten it in, then you can see you can do either extraction or fill. Then again, if you fill it up, you can just take your cap, put it right over there and it'll prevent any leaking. But, that should do it for the review on the Performance Tool 200cc Extraction and Fill Pump.

Plan on using this real soon to replace gear lube in my snowblower. This product was chosen for its great build quality and smaller tubing for my intended use...as the seals and locking method of the dual sized tubing seem far superior to others I've looked at.
Great product for a pain in the [butt] problem. Decent price, and quick shipping. Tank you!
Very well made!!
