Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Hellwig Adjustable Rear Anti-Sway Bar. Now this anti-sway bar is designed to fit your 2009 to 2014 Dodge Ram 1500, then your 2010 to 2018 Ram 1500, both two and four-wheel drives, and then your 2019 and newer Ram 1500, and then 1500 Classic two and four-wheel drives. This bar is designed to replace your factory installed sway bar, and it will reuse your factory supplied end links and some of your original hardware will be reused as well during the installation.

So you wanna make sure that you don't discard that original hardware until after the installation of this anti-sway bar. Now this bar is going to work in conjunction with your suspension system, attaching to the rear axle and to the chassis using the weight of the axle to brace the frame as it shifts and turns. And this bar is going to help minimize side-to-side movement, improving the overall stability of your vehicle. And the system will let you execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence. It's also going to provide a level ride for you, even on your regular surfaces.

And then it's gonna help reduce driver fatigue by minimizing the effort required to keep your vehicle in line. It's also going to help diminish the effects of crosswinds, passing motorists, and shifting cargo. Now this anti-sway bar does for side-to-side movement what a good pair of shocks does for up-and-down motion, giving you a marked improvement in the overall stability of your vehicle. The holes that are closest to the bar are going to be the stiffest setting, and then the holes that are farthest from the bar are gonna be the softest. So you have that range of adjustability. These bushings are made of polyurethane instead of the standard rubber variety, giving you a longer lasting system. They're durable and resistant to damage caused by oil, gasoline, and ozone. So less wear means less give in the system and better overall support.

This bar has a diameter of one inch. It is made here in the USA of solid heat-treated chromoly steel, giving you that superior strength. And I would like to zoom in overhead just to give you a view of this finish. This bar features a Hammertone Silver Vein finish that's not only gonna give you protection from corrosion, but the finish actually has little divots in it. So when you grease your polyurethane bushings and then slide them on the bar, this finish is gonna do a great job of holding that grease in the bushing to prevent them from squeaking. This does include instructions to guide you through the installation process, and zinc-plated mounting hardware, and also bushing lubricant.
