Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this replacement chrome license plate light kit for your Westin bumpers. This part will let you install these two lights in your Westin Diamondstep, Surestep, or Perfect Match rear bumper, to illuminate your rear license plate. It will work with the Diamondstep, the Surestep bumpers, but it also fits the Perfect Match bumpers part number 31000, part number 31001, and part number 32000.Basically, this will tap into your vehicle's running light circuit to supply the lighting for your license plate. Includes all these parts laid out here on the table, includes the two chrome plate of light housing with the mounting clips to install them.
They just slide on there and snap into place, holds them in the place. Comes with the wiring harness with the two wire taps to tap into your running light circuit. Comes with the two bulbs that install into the sockets here and install into your light housings. It also includes the license plate mounting hardware. But that should do it for the review on this replacement chrome license plate light kit for the Westin bumper..

Kit includes 2 housings with bulbs, hardware and wiring.The replacement parts in the rear license-plate-light kit was a perfect match for my 1992 Chevy sportside pickup. The old light sockets and wiring would not function. It was easy to swap in the new parts. The lights work perfectly. The parts in the kit matched the items in the picture supplied at etrailer’s site. I am very happy with the results. The price for the kit is the best I could find. Many places wanted to sell just one light socket for more than etrailer’s complete kit price.
This License Plate kit is an excellent replacement!
I bought this for my 05 Nissan Xterra SE 4x4 as one of the bulbs shorted out and melted the socket. Apparently Nissan does not sell a replacement harness for this year truck, only the lens. There is a kit for the 2006-7 and up - so oh well (another annoying issue w/ the mfr). To my surprise, the bumper is an exact match for Westin type bumpers. The lens and clips match up to the bumper, and the harness all you have to do is splice the 2 wires into the existing one. It solved the issue of not driving without a light out and not getting a ticket in NY. The bumper is metal so the chrome lenses give the re-painted bumper!

A year ago I ordered the kit to replace the license plate lights on my 2004 Nissan Titan. The kit fit perfectly and was very easy to install. I ordered a License plate light replacement kit. The lights themselves look great but the wiring harness was short and I had to splice wires to make it fit. They work great now but would not have without the splice. It would have been too much hassle to send them back so I just took care of the problem. Wasn't plug and play as I had hoped.

One bulb has burnt out but the kit was easy to install and looks real good.
The license plate kit I got was the most complete I have ever gotten. Even the wire connectors were furnished. I only need the rain to stop and it will be done.

Good quality. Lights work fine and finish look new after 1 year. Worst part of installation was limited access to the back end of the lights due to a frame mounted receiver hitch just below the bumper. I've ordered things from lights to hitches from etrailer over the years with no issues. Thank you!
The product was just what I wanted and needed. The lights look great on the truck. They are the same style that came off my truck. I was very disappointed with the way the harness was put together. The wires were just twisted together with electrical tape over it. Did not even have a connectors. We cut the sockets off and spliced them to the existing harness, use the lenses, bulbs, and clips. But it was a great price.
This is FRONT PAGE NEWS for GMC/CHEVY truck/SUV owners, if you ever backed up too far and the tongue trashed your licence plate lights then you know how much the dealer want to replace them. The socket alone, one socket with pigtails you have to wire in yourself, is double or triple what this entire set up costs. These people are saints, only 18bucks plus shipping, please hold your ground and your price. Feels like you're giving me the winning POWERBALL numbers. And I still want at least half of your entire inventory of GMC add ons right after me and my budget get finished fighting about it. I needed a rear license plate light for my 2004 Nissan Titan. The part had been discontinued. The only website that said they had the part wanted $91.00 for the lens and the clip that holds it in place. None of the generic parts would fit from Amazon, Autozone, etc. The mounting hole in the bumper of the Titan is 1" diameter. The generics require a mounting hole of 1.25" or bigger. I contacted etrailer.com. Adam went into their stock, measured their lens and found that it would fit in my bumper. Ordered and installed. Looks just like the original. Total cost with shipping $xx.xx. Saved me $70.00!!!!

My original license plate light assembly finally wore out after 12 yrs of use. Yes, my 2006 Dakota SLT Quad is still running as if I just purchased it yesterday. I was extremely impressed that the replacement assembly worked and fit as an OEM. I simply snipped the easy disconnect from the original assembly and spliced it into the two lead crimp connectors on the replacement. Taped up connections and reinstalled all within 60 mins. I would recommend this dealer for your OEM type replacement parts. I also like their price guarantee and replacement details. Happy camper I am.
Works great and was an easy install for the oem rear bumper on my 95 Tahoe. They are brighter than the oem ones I had that melted and corroded away, and only costed a fraction of what it would cost to buy the oem replacements, just a lens costs more than this whole kit!! Must say I am very satisfied with the product quality and ease of install. Not to mention how fast the shipping and seller had it to my doorstep!! 100% fulfillment!!
I needed a new plate light kit for my 2007 Dakota Quad cab. While doing a search on line, I was finding all kinds of crazy High prices. Then I came across Etrailer and found this light product. It was the only complete kit I found, and the price was kind of unbelievably low. After reading the reviews, I ordered the kit and was very pleased! The lenses did not "snap" into the holes like the original lights, but the metal clips worked perfectly. Shipping was super fast...even received it the day before the predicted day!
