This kit converts your Thule child carrier (sold separately) into a jogging stroller so you can take your children with you as you jog. The child transport system includes two aluminum arms that click into the VersaWing brackets on the front of your carrier.
A 16-inch front wheel is mounted in the metal brackets at the end of the aluminum arms using a quick-release skewer. The large, fixed wheel maintains a straight line as you jog, easily rolling over sidewalk cracks and bumps in the road.
Simply push each button on the VersaWings when you want to remove the aluminum towing arms and wheel. This makes it easy to detach the kit parts if you want to switch your carrier for biking, hiking, strolling or cross-country skiing using other conversion kit accessories (sold separately).
The jogging support arms and front wheel in this kit can be stored on a Thule Cougar 2-child carrier using its deluxe Click n' Store brackets and hook-and-loop straps.
Baby supporters and infant slings (sold separately) are available if you want extra support for your infants as you go for a run with your carrier. A brake kit (sold separately) is also available so that you can install a hand brake that helps to slow and stop the carrier when needed.

The 16" front wheel is attached to 2 lightweight aluminum arms that snap quickly into place on the front of your carrier.The jogging wheel makes a difference as compared with the stroller wheels. As soon as I start to run even a little faster than walking pace the chariot would shake with the stroller wheels, but no so with the jogging wheel. At first, as mentioned in other reviews, the wheel tended to cause the chariot to glide towards the left causing me to continually readjust the trajectory. After calling thule’s customer support, I was informed that there are adjustments towards the front of the wheel that can be made to help this. So, with a bit of tweaking I was able to make it go straight and the chariot definitely rides smooths and fast. I suppose it’s a bother to buy a jogging wheel at its price point and have to make these adjustments, but in the end, it was worth it for me. I have been able to run in races with 2 kids sitting in there! I have included a picture from one of ththe races that I ran with my son. He fell asleep shortly after I started to run; doubt that would have happened with the stroller wheels.
It was a difficult part to find with Thule buying out Chariot. We wanted this set up for our Cougar 2 and were very thankful to get the proper set up through e-trailer.
The set up was easy and we are off and running!
