Michael: Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this Thule Waist Belt. This is going to be a great option for those of you who have the Thule Guidepost Backpacking Pack. This is going to fit right in to that Guidepost to help adjust the size of your waist belt to accommodate a smaller frame. With those backpacking packs, you really carry about 80% of your packs weight on your waist, so you do really want to make sure that that waist portion is going to fit you properly.This is designed for smaller guys.

It's a men's belt. It is designed for hips that are about 27 to 31 inches. This is nice and padded, just like the original. All the same features. It's going to clip in just like the original that came with your pack, but it's just going to make it a little bit more fitted for you to make sure that you're going to be comfortable as you're out on those long hikes and help to support that weight.So we've got the zippered pocket on the side there, and then all the buckles and everything that you're going to need to get this attached.

It's got all the same support and everything in it. Really a no brainer if the original pack's waist belt doesn't fit you, it's a little bit too big. This is going to be the option that you're going to need to make sure that you're going to be comfortable and well-supported, so that you're not going to strain your back or anything like that while you're out on your hike.
