Did Thule Roadway 915XT Come with Anti-Sway Cages on Frame Cradles

Question:

I have been lent a Thule bike rack model number 950XT for a long trip 1,100 miles each way. I think it might be considered a Roadway, but I am not absolutely certain. I think it may be missing the anti sway cage, unless it is not supposed to have one. I cannot find much information regarding the rack. Please note I will only be transporting 2 bikes. I saw references to part number number 853 7758 and 852-2903-001. I’m not sure what I need, if anything. Thanks

I checked with Thule and the Roadway 915XT was supposed to come with anti-sway attachments for the frame cradles and the replacement is part # 852-2903-001. Someone must not have liked them for some reason the rack you have and took them off.

You'll also need one more strap per cradle unless you want to use some of the ones on the cradles you won't be utilizing. For those we have the part # 852-3006-001.
