Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at this Thule replacement hook-strap assembly. This is going to replace the small hook-strap assembly for your Thule Goalpost hitch mounted load bar. And that load bar, obviously, you probably already have it. It's going to allow you to have a support bar for the kayak or long loads that you have mounted on your truck.

And this is the replacement that will attach to the load bar.It's got that spring-loaded buckle that will allow you to pass that other strap through and get that nice and snug, tied down tight. This does not come with the other strap. That is sold separately. You can find it here at etrailer.com using the part number there. The part number that you see on the screen there is the other portion that will attach to your bumper and feed through this end.So this end is just going to include the hook and the buckle to get that all tightened down so that you have a nice, secure, upright Goalpost load bar.This is an exact replacement from Thule, so you can trust it's going to be the same quality of materials, same fit.

You're not going to have to worry about fit issues or compatibility or anything like that.
