- Removing The Lock Nut From The Yoke Assembly On Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain You mention replacing the bushings so I believe you are referring to the yoke assembly 3/4" lock nut that you are having trouble removing. If you can get leverage on the nut with a breaker bar then it will help break it loose. The last resort would be to heat the lock nut up very carefully with a torch to make it expand so you can remove it. I confirmed with Roadmaster that this would be okay as a last resort tactic. The nuts would definitely need to be replaced with Universal Jam Nut...
