It is important to keep dirt out of the latching mechanism on a Sterling tow bar. Etrailer.com saved the day by offering just the part I needed without buying a kit full of hardware. I have used etrailer.com multiple times and and will again in the future.1288725

This is a simple item - not much to get wrong, but Etrailer was really the only place I could find this part without having to buy a bunch of other items. The part I originally had was always loose and finally came off, not to be found. Etrailer had this in stock, very reasonable priced and reasonable shipping cost. On our older towbar, I've found that these caps easily detach themselves and get lost. The replacements from trailer appear to be OEM and are working great for me. I'm just glad that minor parts like these are even available.
