Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a real brief look at this Roadmaster end link kit. This end link kit is going to allow the installation of the Roadmaster rear anti-sway bar for pickup trucks. And on your screen for your reference, I am including the item number of the rear anti-sway bar from Roadmaster that this is going to fit. And this is for use with vehicles without factory rear sway bars, and lemme go ahead and just give you some overall measurements of these links. So, I'm just gonna go ahead and pull out my ruler here. So, beginning with the measurement from end-to-end, we are sitting right at 12 and three quarters inches for that overall length.

And then, measuring center-to-center on the bushing center, as you can see, we're sitting right at 11 inches center-to-center. So, this does include everything that you see here. It comes with the hardware that you are going to need as well, and this is directly from Roadmaster, so you can have the confidence that this is going to work with your Roadmaster rear anti-sway bar for pickup trucks. • Diameter of Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar 1139-153
I checked with Roadmaster for you, and I verified that the thickness is 1-3/8 inches for the anti-sway bar: - Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-153 This is good because the thicker the anti-sway bar, the more roll stiffness there is, which means you get more control over sway and body roll. A rear anti-sway bar is really the best thing you can add to counteract sway and improve stability and handling of your truck. The # RM-1139-153 is a replacement for the rear factory anti-sway...

  • Does Roadmaster Offer a Upgraded End Link For the Sway Bar RM-1139-165 On a 2000 Ford F-350 Dually?
I reached out to Roadmaster and they do not offer any replacement end links for the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-165 on your 2000 Ford F-350. They only offer an End Link Kit # RM-590230-00 for the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-153 which is for the non-dually version F-350 without a factory sway bar.

  • Replacement Bushings for Roadmaster End Link Assemblies
To replace just the hat bushing for your Roadmaster End Link Kit # RM-590230-00 you will need the part # RM-205223-00. For the metal sleeve that the bushings install around you will need the part # RM-205501-00. Each of these will include one bushing or sleeve so in order to replace the bushing and sleeve on both ends of a single End Link you will need to order a quantity of 2. If you need to replace both ends on both of the End Links you will need 4.

  • Rear Anti-Sway Bar For 2000 Ford F-250 Super Duty 2WD
While we have a good option for an anti-sway that will help with overall control of your 2000 Ford F-250 2WD, a steering stabilizer won't fit. The reason why isn't that they are too long or big, it's simply that the stabilizer won't physically fit because it installs in place of the steering damper which is there on 4WD options but not your 2WD. So the best option that will help keep your F-250 steady is a rear anti-sway bar, which does fit your 2WD 2000 Ford F-250: - Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway...

  • Which Roadmaster Anti-Sway Bar for 1999 Ford F-350 SRW With No Factory Sway Bar
You're absolutely correct. For a 1999 Ford F350 SRW without the factory sway bar, you'd use # RM-1139-153 along with the # RM-590230-00 end link kit.

  • Do I Need End Links to Install a Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar on a 1999 Ford F350
The easiest way to tell if you have a rear sway bar on your 1999 Ford F350 would be to just get underneath the rear of your vehicle and check. The sway bar will look like a thick metal bar that runs over the differential that will connect to the rear axle using u-bolts. If you do not have a sway bar you will need the end links like you mentioned, for that you will want part # RM-590230-00.
