Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement glass for a K Source Snap & Zap custom towing mirror. This fits driver's side mirror, part number KS80910. The unit features the OE-grade flat glass with first-surface plating to reflect clear images. So the front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome, and then the flat lens reflects true representation of the actual object size. That glass is set in this backing plate. This is the portion that attaches to the towing mirror, so you will need to remove the old glass by taking out the screw behind the glass assembly. Take your new glass and press it into place until the assembly snaps together at this location, right here, with the ball joint. Once it's in place, tilt the glass to gain access to the set screw, and then tighten the screw with a Phillips-head screwdriver.
And that's all there is to it. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement glass for a K Source Snap & Zap custom towing mirror. Again, this fits driver's side mirror, in KS80910.
