Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a quick look at the Goal Zero regulated car adapter. This is going to allow you to charge your Yeti lithium solar generator without having to rely on your solar panels exclusively. So if you are out on the road and you need to charge up your power station, but maybe it's a cloudy day or it's raining, and you need it to get charged up, you can use your car, a 12 volt port, and plug this guy in there and then run the other end to your power station and get that charged up.We do have two settings as far as the power output. You can either have it at five amps, which is a slower charge, or at 10 amps. The reason there would be that you maybe don't want to drain your car's battery for too long.
You've got a little bit more time to let it sit on there and more trickle charge. Or if you want a faster, more rapid charge, you can bump it up to that 10 amp output. So our total output is going to be 12 volts up to that 10 amp level. The input, again, is going to be our 12 volt and male car port, so you can keep everything charged up and stay out off the grid a little bit longer. The total length of our cable is about 10 feet and about eight inches, if we go from the very end of one side to the other. The cable on this side, the longer extension cables that should go to your power station, that's about nine feet, if we go from this portion to the port here.
So the total cable length is about nine feet long, and then we have an additional foot and some change to work with for our converter box and the actual plug. So roughly a little over 10 feet for the total length of your cable here. The adapter, or the converter here, is about two and three quarter inches wide by, if we go to the end of those little keepers, about five and a half inches long. And then just about an inch thick. So just letting you know about how much space that takes up. Definitely something that can be packaged up and stored in a backpack or a small compartment in your car, maybe your glove box or that back pocket behind the front driver's seat, or really anywhere else that you might want to put it.That's about it for our look at the Goal Zero regulated car adapter for the Yeti lithium solar generator.
If you need any other accessories for your Goal Zero system, we have a lot of options available here at etrailer.com, so definitely check those out. Thanks for watching and we'll see you next time.
