Hello, neighbors. I'm Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the Ericsson clamps for the truck bed toppers. You're gonna get quantity, two. They have a 90-day limit warranty and they are nice C-clamps that are gonna help secure a hard Tonneau cover, or a camper shell to the side rails of your pickup truck bed. Now, if you've never used these, they're pretty simple.
You simply loosen the nut here with a socket or a wrench that will pivot that out. It'll roll all the way down, over two inches opening space, actually, and I'll go ahead and pop up some dimensions here real quick. So, again, open, the widest it's gonna go before you can not use the threads anymore is two and an eighth inches wide. And then the measurement side to side on the inside there on the bottom is one and one eighth inches. And the outside to the inside left there on that top blue measurement is one and seven eighth inches wide.
Folks, we have pictures on our website, as well. Anytime you need to take a look at that, just look for that on the website, as well. Now these are a no-drill application. They are nice, durable, (metal clanging) rust-proof aluminum. You can place the clamper on the bed rail and the truck topper or the camper shell, simply tighten the included carriage bolt and you're on your way.

Competing products online had so many bad reviews about quality, that I was nervous about buying them there. The Erickson website gave me the expectation that these were made in the USA (Marine City, MI to be precise). I'm willing to pay for quality, and these cost more than twice as much as the online ones. But I don't know what I got with these. They're holding up fine so far, but I'm nervous as the package says, "Made in China."

Checked with the Chevy dealer that installed the Tonneau bed cover for brand I.D. but he couldn't help me. I found the closest looking bracket on etrailer. Figured I could modify as needed. The price was reasonable and much to my surprise they fit. I did have to use different bolts but really that was EZ modification to allow clearance for the soft cover and I had them in my metric bin.

The replacement bracket worked so well I nearly have forgotten about it. Perfect replacement for Chevy aftermarket soft folding bed cover as Chevy could not tell me who the bed cover supplier was.

One of my tonneau cover rail clamps broke on my 2004 ram truck. I purchased this pair as a replacement and a spare. They were so well made I swapped out an existing clamp with the new spare from etrailer. I will be making an additional purchase to swap out the remaining older clamps shortly. This product is much better than the OEM clamps.
