Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff from etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Derale engine spin-on adapter kit with the dual side ports. Now, this spin-on adapter will provide external oil lines that are necessary to install an engine oil cooler, and/or an additional remote mounted filter, by converting your vehicle's oil filter landing into a passage way. This will port the oil out of the engine for external use.You can see it's a nice high-quality die-cast aluminum construction, has a billet style design, and an ultra bright finish, and this kit will include everything laid out here on the table, the adapter itself, the rubber O-ring that'll go on the bottom here when you go to install this to your engine. And then the two plugs here that would be used if there's two of the ports you're going to not use, you can put those plugs in there if you're using this to mount a remote mounted oil filter.Now you do use this to install an engine oil cooler, and you want to run down rubber hoses.

It will require a half inch by NPT male by half inch barb straight hose fittings to connect those rubber hoses to this. Those are not included, those are sold separately. Specs again, the port size is a half-inch NPT thread size.

The engine filter thread size is 22 by 1.5 millimeters. This is designed to fit 2 1/2 inch to 2 3/4 inch oil filter landings. And you can see at the top of the ports, they have the directions of the arrow for the oil flow, and it will come with a nice set of instructions that'll describe how all this connects.
