Hello, everyone. Clayton here at etrailer.com. Here at etrailer, we install, test and review a lot of different products to help you as a customer make a more educated decision before your purchase. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'll be showing you how to install the replacement eClip for Demco and etrailer tow bars. This eClip is gonna work for a number of different tow bars. It's gonna work for the Demco Commander, Demco Dominator, Demco Excalibur, the etrailer SD and the etrailer XHD tow bars.
We already have several of these clips here on our tow bar. Number of them are gonna do different things. The one up here is gonna be for our locking pin for when we put it in the storage position. And if you follow the tow bar down this way, towards the end of the arm, you're gonna see one of these eClips here on our locking mechanism. And we're actually missing one on this pin here.
Now, what this is gonna do over time, it's gonna kind of rattle around and cause this pin to eventually fall out. So it's always a good idea to check for these missing whenever we're getting ready to flat tow, so that we can make sure we're traveling safely down the roadway. Now, when it is time to install a new eClip, it is gonna be pretty simple. We're gonna line that up with the groove on our clevis pin. And if you do happen to lose one of these clevis pins, you can find them here at etrailer.com as well.
It's not a big deal. You wanna slide that eClip, line it up with that groove and our pin, you got a pair of needle nose pliers and just push forward and down to lock that into position. You do wanna make sure that it locks into that groove all the way around. Now with our pin locked back into place, we know it's not gonna go anywhere. We can return our tow bar to our motor home.
And that's gonna do it for our look at and our quick installation of the replacement eClip for our Demco and etrailer tow bars..
