Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Curt custom 5th wheel bracket kit for Ford trucks. Now this is a custom fit part. This is designed to fit the 2017 and newer Ford F250, F350, and F450 super duty trucks without the OEM prep package, and it excludes the cabin chassis models. Now on a custom fit part like this, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show if this'll work for your application. Basically these brackets right here is what'll mount beneath your truck bed.

They provide the attachment points for your 5th wheel rails. Now the base rails we do sell separately on our website. It does require the Curt base rails, either the part number C16104 or the part number C16204. These will provide the custom fit by mounting to existing holes in your vehicle's frame. This will help minimize the amount of drilling that's required and it cuts the installation time in half when compared with universal bracket kits.

It will include everything shown here on the table. It's all the necessary hardware you need for installation, even comes with a nice set of instructions that'll describe how this installs and they also add this galvanic isolator kit which includes this roll of tape and these squares. And these are designed to install between the aluminum bed of the vehicle and all these steel parts of this kit to help prevent a galvanic corrosion between the two different materials. If you notice, these brackets have a nice black powder coat finish to 'em to resist corrosion. And these will work with the B&W, the Curt, the Draw-tite, Hidden Hitch, Reese, and Husky above-bed 5th wheel trailer hitches.
