Can Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Ball Mount # AMSC12 Be Used in the Rise Poistion
Question:
I need at least 10 3/4inch rise from the receiver to the 2inch ball in order to achieve a 22inch ball height from the ground up for my Yakima trailer mating with my 04 Subaru Forester. So can I flip this ball mount so it is up 10 3/4inch ? My current hitch is 10 1/2inch off the ground. Thanks

The Convert-A-Ball # AMSC12 cushioned ball mount can indeed be used in the rise position, which would provide 10-3/4 inches of rise. Keep in mind this is an extreme rise. Usually, needing a rise that large would be a good indication that you really shouldn't tow that trailer with your vehicle, but because the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailers are so light, you won't have a problem.
You'll also need a 2 inch diameter ball like part # 63845.
