Recommended Procedure for Cleaning Tree Sap off Truxedo Soft Tonneau Cover

got some pine tree sap on tonnaeu cover how do i get it off with out damaging cover???

My Truxedo representative recommends using hot water, car wash soap and a soft bristle brush to remove that sap. It's going to take some elbow grease, but that should remove it. Once you have the sap removed, Truxedo recommends using their Pro-Tex protectant spray, part # TX1704511 to provide a layer of protection that will prevent sap from sticking next time.
