Replacement Suspension Components For a 1998 Fleetwood Terry Camper With Tandem 2-3/8" Axles

Question:

I have a 25’ 1998 Terry camper by Fleetwood with dual 2-3/8” Dexter axles spaced at 29”. The hangers are 25” apart. The curved equalizers are 5-3/4” and 2”. The shackle straps are 3-1/8”and the shackles are approximately 21-3/8” with 4 springs on each. U-bolts are 5-1/2” and the plates are 3-1/2” and 6”. I would like to replace everything that I mentioned but I can’t seem to find any shackles with 4 springs that are around the length of 21-3/8” from eye to eye.

First we do have the basic Curved Equalizer # TREQ104 which matches your 5-3/4" length and 2" height. As these are sold individually you will need 2 for your 1998 Fleetwood Terry camper. You might consider upgrading to a cushioned equalizer like the MORryde # MR87ZR if you want your camper to have a smoother ride with less vibration and shock transferred into the camper.

For either kit we have the Wet Bolt Kit # MR76ZR which are also 3-1/8" on center like your current shackle straps. This kit includes all the bolts, bronze bushings and shackles needed for your suspension.

I do not see that we have any leaf springs which are close to your 21-3/8" measurement. You may be able to locate them or have them ordered by a local trailer dealer. Since your axles are 2-3/8" in diameter then it is most like a 3,500lb axle but check the manufacturer tag on your camper to verify that is the weight capacity you need for your springs.
