Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box for 2021 Alliance Valor 40V13 Toy Hauler

Question:

Which Gen-Y Fifth Wheel to Gooseneck Adaptor for a 2021 Alliance Valor 40V13 RV. The label on the existing box contains the following information: LCI Item Number: 20201330501 S/N: S006854594 RPO-0006380822 Im trying to verify the model of the Lippert Pinbox. It is 12inch wide. The GVWR of my RV is 20,000lbs. Using Gen-Y calculation of 22=4400lbs. That puts me near the high end of a 5.5k model. Im wondering if I should go with the 6.5k model to be safe? Any help you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you very much Jay for providing all the information and images with the tags Jay. I was able to verify with Lippert your 2021 Alliance Valor 40V13 has the bolt pattern for a Rhino Box pin box. I also saw your camper is going to have a dry tongue weight of 3,000lbs which is going to mean the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box 4.5K # GY33GR rated for up to 24,000lbs of trailer weight and a tongue weight of 2,500-4,500lbs would be best. The larger 5.5K Model # GY23GR is designed for a tongue weight of 3,500-5,500lbs so you would need at least an additional 500lbs of tongue weight when hauling for the shock absorbing to work properly.

Do remember you will need the Safety Chain Kit # GY49GR since you are going to a ball type connection.
