How Would Dedicated Third Brake Light Get Wired on Trailer
Question:
How do I wire a third brake light onto my trailer but have it only on when the running lights are on and for the brake? Can it work like that with a converter or do I just have to use it only as a break light? I know I need a converter but Im kind of clueless when it comes to the process

To do that you would need a converter like the part # 118158 that you referenced. You would run the stop/turn circuits of the trailer wiring to the converter by tapping into them so that you could have an isolated stop light circuit for it. You'd run that to the brighter illumination circuit of the light and then you'd run the running light circuit directly to the dimmer illumination circuit of the light bypassing the converter.
