Can Trailer Wiring with Multiple Brown and White Wires be Combined to One When Install New 4-Way
Question:
If you have a trailer wiring harness with eight wires going to a four pin plug is it safe to say all the browns are tied together on one line and all the whites get tied together and the yellow and green follow the same colors on the new plug ? Thank you Greg

Yes, that's perfectly safe to do. Combining all of the running light wires (brown) and ground wires (white) onto a single wire to match what most 4-ways have is perfectly okay to do.
