Availability of Replacement Washers for 1-Inch Spindle for Dexter Trailer Hubs and Drums
Question:
Hi! First of all, I love etrailer.com. I find just about everything I need for my trailer here. I recently bought some brakes 23-47 and 23-48 and new hubs with drums 8-173-16UC3 from you guys and installed them on my trailer. My problem is, the hubs I replaced were missing the washers that go between the outer bearing and the castle nut. Perhaps the previous owner lost them. Do you have replacement washers for this? Ive tried searching the site, but havent been able to find them. My trailer is a 1995 Dutchmen 1203 Pop up Camper. The axle is a 2200lb torsion axel by Dexter. I dont know what model. Thank you very much

Thanks for the comment.
We do have replacement washers # SW1000 for the hub and drum you referenced # 8-173-16UC3. We also carry 1-inch trailer spindle nuts. The replacement part is # 165686. You may also need a cotter pin. The replacement part is # 165649.
If you have an EZ Lube Spindle you will need different parts. Just let me know so I can make the proper recommendations.
I have linked a video showing how to remove and reinstall a trailer hub.
