2-1/2" Heavy Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver and Extension For a 2001 Ford F-350
Question:
I just bought this 2001 F-350 XL super duty with a Lance 1121 camper. I want to tow a horse trailer behind the camper about 5000 pounds, which requires a 3foot hitch extension. Will this hitch work? It says something about heavy duty suspension and I dont know if this has that or not. It has what looks like heavy suspension - but its a f-350.

Yes, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT45508 will fit on you 2001 Ford F-350 XL Super Duty. This will allow you to use either the 34" # RP45292 or 41" # RP45018 extension in the 2-1/2" Receiver.
Do remember you will need a Wiring Extension # TLW6042 as well to connect your trailers electrical connection.
