Hey Mark, thanks for the question, and while we have exactly what you're looking for, it's actually a different part number (the one you mentioned is for a long bed). I went ahead and verified for you the correct SuperHitch for your 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the 6-1/2 foot short bed, which is the following:
- TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLC1212-30
You have a good eye because the # TLC1212-30 is an absolute BEAST with a 2-1/2" receiver on top and 2" receiver on bottom, and has a 20,000 lb towing capacity and 2,500 lb tongue weight capacity. Basically, there's nothing your truck can throw at the Magnum that it can't handle.
This is a USA-made hitch and it even comes with a pin and clip for both the 2" and 2-1/2" receivers, which is a nice little touch.
