Backing Plate for Electric Brakes on 10k Axles
Question:
I am working on a 10k-12k axles electric brake w/6bolt mounting .do you offer complete backing plate kits for these as well?

The only backing plate we have that would work with a 10k axle is the # BP15-085. This is designed for 9,000-10,000 lb electric brake assemblies. We don't have anything for 12k. The backing plate fits the Dexter # 23-450-451. However, this uses a 7-bolt brake flange pattern.
I recommend double checking your bolt pattern to make sure it is actually 6. There are some older obsolete axles that have this bolt pattern but there are no longer replacement brakes that would match. If that is the case, you would need to either replace the brake mounting flange or the axle itself. The # AKEBRK-10 you were looking at also uses a 7-bolt brake flange. It looks like 6 in the picture but there is a bolt hole in the middle behind the magnet.
