Recommended Fifth Wheel Trailer To Gooseneck Hitch Adapter For A 30" Long Extended Pin Box
Question:
Our fifth wheel king pin, diagonally measured is 30” long, which gooseneck adapter do we need?

Expert Reply:
For a 30" long pin box I recommend the Convert-a-ball adapter # CAB-C5G. This attaches in a similar way to the Ranch hitch you were looking at, but there are no recommended limits for the length of the pin box when using the Convert-a-ball adapter. So it will be perfect for your 30" long pin box. The Convert-a-ball adapter # CAB-C5G has a towing capacity of 20,000 lbs and a pin weight capacity of 4,000 lbs.
I have linked our review video below if you want to take a look.
