Troubleshooting An EC Error Code On A Fogatti Tankless Water Heater

Question:

EC error code normal water pressure and 16 water column. It worked a couple times now it won’t ignite. You can hear click a few times but no ignition.

The Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater # LSB64FR has a maximum inlet pressure of 13" WC so your 16" water column is too much for the unit to handle. Your trailer's regulator needs to be readjusted by a qualified technician or replaced to get your pressure back down to an acceptable level.

Depending on the style of your regulator we should have the correct replacement for you. For a vertical regulator you'll want part # 108220. For a horizontal regulator you'll want part # 108221. For a dual tank style regulator you'll want part # 888001-MBS.

Once the regulator issue is cleared up your unit should start to operate again, but you could have potentially damaged the line and any propane appliances you have in the trailer could have been damaged as well and might require replacement. You'll have to try each appliance after the pressure is fixed to see if any other damage was caused.
