Correct Replacement Red Lens 18-1242 for Clearance Light
Question:
I need two items. I need a replacement lens for red clearance? light on 31 ft Winnebago I believe it might be optronics 18-1242 Also I think I need a adapter roadmaster 048-6 as my MH is 6 higher than towed. I am concerned about 10,000 lb limit. towed is 2016 Subaru forrester.

The correct replacement lens for the clearance light on your motorhome is the Replacement Red Lens for Optronics MC32RB and MCL32RB Trailer Lights part # A32RB.
In regards to a high-low adapter, measure from the center of the hitch on the motorhome to the ground and then subtract the distance from the center of the base plate kit to the ground on the towed vehicle. The difference is the amount of rise/drop you'll need. The Roadmaster High-Low Adapter for Tow Bars part # RM-048-6 offers a 6" rise or drop. It has a 10,000 lb weight capacity which is more than enough for a Subaru Forester.
