Video Transcript for Optronics Trailer Lights Replacement Red Lens Review

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to replace this front lens cover for your Optronics side or tail marker lights. This is gonna be really straightforward. All you need is the replacement lens and a flathead screwdriver. You can find the one on your trailer that you're looking to replace, whether it's damaged or already gone.

If it does need to be removed though, all you need to do is take your flathead screwdriver, insert it in the side, and give it a small twist. That will pop the lens cover off, then the new one will just snap into place where that old one was. Just like that. This lens has the same exact acrylic construction as the old one did. It's gonna be plenty durable, maybe a little bit susceptible to cracking over time, but overall I think it's gonna be just fine.

And you wanna make sure you get the right lens for the right light. So this is meant to replace MC 32 and MCL 32 series lights. Make sure you find the right one for you. And check out the other replacement lens cover options on our site if you have a different light. If you need to replace the entire thing, not just the lens cover, we've got those too, so be sure to go down on the related parts or search on our website to find the right one for your camper.

But that'll do it for our look at and replacement of the Optronics Side Marker Replacement Lens. Thanks for watching.

Still working and Ive since ordered more to replace other damaged lenses.

by:

I was super disappointed that sales person did not tell me I could buy the entire light cheaper than buying the lens. I used to be very happy with etrailer, but I but I think it's time to do some investigating and find a new source for trailer parts. I do not like being taken advantage of when I call the business for help.

I bet that they did not see the whole light when they were on the phone. A lot of people only want the lens instead of the whole light since it is quicker to replace. I will have Customer Service review and reach out to you.

I had a hard finding replacement lens for my camper, local auto parts stores all stocked other style lights and offered no replacement lens ! With a couple of clicks, exactly what I needed were n their way ! Tracking was easy through the emails ! Will definitely use etrailer.com again and just spoke with my sis about her trailer needs and referred her to etrailer.com as well ! ,,,, thanks George !

by:

These products are very hard to find. I was so lucky to be able to purchase a new replacement red lense. It worked great for our trailer.

by:

Also purchased the Amber replacement lens. Both were exact lens that came from the factory on our travel trailer.

by:

Our cover was accidentally broken when coming out of storage. I looked up the number of the light on the internet and found your site. I ordered this and it came quickly and was well packaged. I went right out and popped it on to our Sport Trek Travel Trailer. Perfect fit! Thank you! I will be back to order more!

by:

Very quick delivery and excellent service and price. Fit our Optronics marker light perfectly! I included a picture of the assembly because this was the only number on the unit.

by:

Fit snugly and stay on...bright and sharp. Had to change all of the faded ones to pass new Texas trailer inspection. Hope the color holds up in the sun. Good price and delivered promptly. Thanks!

by:

Lenses fit just right.
Thanks

Another good experience dealing with etrailer. I have purchased many items from etrailer over the years and have never been disappointed. From the customer service to the delivery of the product I am always pleased. It isn’t easy to find personalized customer service these days. Thank You etrailer.

by:

I did not get the product I ordered. I got an on/off switch. Mistakes happen, was glad it wasn't a part I needed right away.

by:

Ordered lens covers to replace old brittle lenses, can't beat the price, and looks great also, thumbs up!

by:

Thank you for having the replacements that we needed for our toy box trailer. It has made the difference in so many ways. We will continue to use your company and we will continue to send other customers to your company.

by:

This fit my my tail light lenses that was discontinued. 2” x 4” lenses . Fast delivery.

by:

When my lens got hit and broke recently, I expected to call the RV manufacturer and be told the part is either not available, or cost a ridiculous amount. Instead, I noticed the Optronics name on the lens, searched the Net and found them in OK and found the part number from their catalog and a visual match. Then I searched the Net for that part number and found it at etrailer.com. I was pleasantly surprised that the price was very reasonable, so I bought several. Part came today, is a perfect match and snapped right in place. Problem solved.

A year later, still looks new.

by:

Acidentaly smashed the light cover when backing up our camper in the garage. I told my husband we should be able to buy just the cover not the whole assembly as he feared. I knew where to go; etrailer.com. Yep, ordered just the light cover, came in 2 days and fit perfectly!!! Thank you etrailer!

Excellent!

by:

Replaced a broken 1A-S-20 lens with this lens. Fit was perfect.

by:

Exact match to what the factory had installed and fit perfectly!! Was shipped very fast and arrived earlier than expected! Lens covers were brand new and came packaged in a big envelope and should of been protected better. Lens were floating freely and could have been crushed, cracked or broken in to pieces. That is my only complaint and the reason I did not give 5 stars.

  • What are the Inside Dimensions of the Optronics Replacement Red Lens # A32RB
I went out to the warehouse to look at the Optronics Replacement Red Lens # A32RB referenced in your question. I measured the inside dimensions of the lens and it is 3-3/4 inches long x 1-3/4 inches in height. The actual thickness of the lens is right round 1/8 inches. I have attached an image with these dimensions for you to look at.

  • Replacement Interior and Exterior Lights for a 1997 Coleman Sea Pine 10
To find the correct replacement lights for any trailer you will need to find the manufacturer and model number which would be on the light housing, not the lens. If that information is not available, you will have to go by the measurements of the old lights to determine fit. Interior lights are a little more flexible in terms of replacements because they often times to not have to fit in a certain space. We have several LED options which I have linked for you.

  • Correct Replacement Red Lens 18-1242 for Clearance Light
The correct replacement lens for the clearance light on your motorhome is the Replacement Red Lens for Optronics MC32RB and MCL32RB Trailer Lights part # A32RB. In regards to a high-low adapter, measure from the center of the hitch on the motorhome to the ground and then subtract the distance from the center of the base plate kit to the ground on the towed vehicle. If the light on your 2001 Dutchman Classic looks like the part # MC32RB then yes, the part # A32RB would be the correct replacement lens to use. Nearly all trailer taillight manufacturers will use the same designs and the lenses will interchange. So take a good look at the # MC32RB, and if it matches what you have then the # A32RB would work for you.
