What Type of Bolt is Used On Slipper End of Slipper Spring Suspensions

Question:

What type of bolt is used on the slipper end of a slipper spring? The one I took off was a regular bolt with bushing, but I can’t find anything confirming this is correct.

Expert Reply:

The bolt on the slipper end of a slipper spring suspension is a regular shackle bolt. It basically looks like a regular bolt. This can be seen in the Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for 2" Slipper Springs # APT6SE. If you're looking for replacement shackle bolts you will need to measure the length and diameter of your current bolts so they match.

I have attached a link below to all of our suspension bolts, along with a help article on slipper spring trailer suspension for your reference.
