Recommended Trailer Hitch For A 2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL

2022 Hyunday Tucson SEL. Will buy the Curt hitch C94WR and have pretty much decided on the Küat Transfer v2 1-bike carrier KU64FR. Have always used a trunk carrier in the past, so asking from a place of complete ignorance: WHAT ELSE do I need to order from you so that Im in business as soon I get the hitch installed? Ive seen some talk of the need for an HL1 hitch pin for proper alignment of the receiver? True? Anything else? I do not need a key lock at this time.

After installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C94WR onto your 2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL and installing the Kuat Transfer Bike Rack # KU64FR for extra security I would also purchase the Hitch Lock # HLT. This lock also has an anti rattle device that will help reduce the noise when you're hauling your bikes around on the Kuat bike rack. The lock comes with 3 round keys. The # HL1 is for 1-1/4 inch hitches and will not work with your 2 inch hitch mentioned above.

If you ever plan on towing a trailer down the road you will also need the Wiring harness # CU94FR and the Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45554.

If you are using the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 1 Bike #KU64FR for a 2-inch hitch, I confirmed with Kuat that you will need the #HL1 because of the 1-1/4 adapter sleeve that comes with the rack.
