Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness. The connection point for the 4-way tow harness is located behind the interior trim panel in your rear cargo area. Once you've plugged in the converter, insert the included 10-amp fuse into the integrated fuse holder.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed in an out-of-the-way location within your cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

My Kia Carnival does have the plug installed that mates to this harness. Also, there is a bracket to mount the booster next to the plug.

This t-connector harness for 2024 Kia Carnival was a perfect fit. Installation was sample and per instruction. Time to install was less then 20 minutes.
Worked as indicated in video! Used the large zip tie to secure the unit and one smaller one to keep the cord from moving around. I don’t currently have a trailer to test it with but will assume it works for now!
I rated this item only so I can comment on how awesome etrailer is. I have ordered multiple hitches from them for work and personal. They are great. Customer service is IMPECABLE. there how to videos are great for helpful hints.

Even though this Palisade did not have the 'Tow Package' this adaptor fits the stock wiring with plug and play installation. Looks like the wiring is the same for all packages.

I'm sure it will work just fine. My only problem/issue is that the hitch mount itself doesn't provide a place to attach this device. I have to make it myself. Not a complete unit. Lacking what's needed.
Easy to install. The installation videos on the etrailer website are very well done and very informative.
This was dead simple to install and get working. My only complaint is that the adhesive on the back of the module is super weak and didn't want to stick to anything.

Easy installation. The single self tapping screw was just right. Easy plug n play for the Tucson as they had a spare and sealed plug waiting for a connection. (Little tricky to get it off but I'll blame Hyundai for that one.) Plenty of zip ties (rare for ANY project thing you buy) If I had not been picky about cable management, five minute install.
