It looks like the hitches available for the Ford EcoSports are 1-1/4" class II hitches which limits you in options for heavy e-bikes. With this in mind and the need for a loading ramp I recommend the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack item # Y96FR.
The OnRamp has a 66 lbs per bike capacity which is our strongest option for class II hitches. This is a frame mounted bike rack that will fit a variety of styles of e-bikes and will completely avoid any fenders your e-bike may have.
It has an integrated ramp that allows you to easily load your bike onto the rack. The Ramp stores behind the bike trays when it is not being used so you don't have to work about losing it or storing it in your Ford.
A cable lock is included to secure your bikes to the rack and the rack to your vehicle. The thick, steel cable threads through your bike's frames, and locks back onto the hitch pin, preventing the pin from being removed from the hitch pin hole.
There isn't going to be a bike rack that will tilt down enough to get completely out of the way of your Ecosports swingaway door. You will be able to open your door, with the rack tilted down, but not completely with the rack and definitely the back attached to your vehicle.
I have linked a review video along with a picture of the ramp being used below. If you have anymore questions please email me directly and I will be happy to answer them for you.
If you do have a 2" hitch you will want the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes item # Y36FR. This has the same functions it just fits the larger class III receivers.
