How To Install Roller Bunks on a Malone Watersport Trailer
Question:
I am getting to old to lift my wood dingy on the trailer. I have a Malone trailer where the two cross beams are 3 feet apart. I want to user roller bunks and purchase from you but I dont know what parts I need and if you have a diagram of how to assemble onto the frame. The boat only weighs 140 lbs. Please let me know. Best regards

In order to convert your Malone trailer from a roof rack on wheels to a full on boat trailer with roller guide-on's, I recommend using the CE Smith Roller Bunks for Boat Trailers part # CE27700 and CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies for Roller Bunks part # CE10003G-4. The crossbars and brackets will need to removed and then you can install the swivel brackets to the crossmembers and the bunk rollers to the swivel brackets. That said, you will still need u-bolts that match the crossmember height like the Trailer Square U-Bolts part # 7163184UB. I don't have an exact write-up on this but I have attached some photos below to help better explain.
