Troubleshooting Curt Wiring Flipping Left Brake and Turn Signals on 2015 Honda CR-V
Question:
Upon completing installation, everything works as it should on the right side of the vehicle, but not on the left. When I turn the blinker on, my brake light acts as the blinker instead of the blinker light and when I brake, the left blinker goes turns on. The plugs all fit and there are no issues on the right side of the vehicle. I have watched and rewatched the proper tutorial and I did not do anything incorrectly.

Thank you for reaching out about the Curt T-Connector Wiring # C56158 you installed on your 2015 Honda CR-V.
The only ways I can see the left turn and brake functions swapping on your CR-V is if the plug was either installed at a different orientation or the wiring kit itself is messed up. Since these plugs can only fit 1 specific way it sounds like the T-Connector you purchased is a bad unit and I recommend pursuing the limited 1-year warranty that comes with the wiring.
The Curt wiring kits can sometimes be hit or miss when it comes to quality so I normally recommend going with the Tekonsha T-One # 118561 instead. I would only go this route if you don't want to pursue the warranty on the Curt though.
Installation for both wiring kits will be the same but I went ahead and added videos of both wiring kits on a 2015 CR-V for you to check out. Sorry I don't have an easier solution for you!
