How to Reduce Some Noise and Movement for B&W Tow & Stow Pintle Hook with 2" Ball
Question:
Every time I stop or start moving with your pintal hitch 2 6/16 ball 10k/16k hitch. The trailer moves around a lot. Thus, making huge banging noise. How can this be corrected? And yes, I know they are designed to have room to move but this seems a little too much room to move.

Part of the play you're experiencing is from the pintle connection on the B&W Tow & Stow Pintle Hook with 2" Ball - 2" Hitches # BWTS10055 and part of it is the tolerances built in for the shank to the receiver - both are common with ball mount and pintle hook connections in general.
While we can't really do anything about the pintle connection (short of changing your trailer to a hitch ball coupler), we can help with the shank part of your ball mount and for that I recommend checking out the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer for 2" Hitches # e99007. This essentially clamps down on the shank of the ball mount and forces it to wedge against the inside of the hitch receiver on your truck, thus helping to reduce some of that noise and movement you get when you stop or take off.
