Will 205/65-10 Trailer Tire Fit in Place of 205/50-10 Trailer Tire

Question:

Hello, Would a 205/65-10 tire fit on the time I currently have 205/50-10 tires on?

It can, so long as you have the right amount of clearance from the top of your tire to your fender (approximately 3 inches). A 205/65-10 trailer tire measures 20.5" in diameter and a 205/50-10 trailer tire measures 18.1" in diameter so you'll need to account for the roughly 2-1/2" of size for the larger tire (though since only half of that is on top of the tire you'll only need an extra 1-1/4" of space on top of the tire).

You'll want to verify this but unless your current tire is very close to the fender there shouldn't be an issue. You can choose from any of the following, depending on the load range you need (keep in mind the load range is per tire):

- Load Range E (1,650 lbs): Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire - 205/65-10 # AM1HP56

- Load Range D (1,330 lbs): Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire - 205/65-10 # AM1HP54

- Load Range C (1,10 lbs): Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire - 205/65-10 # AM1HP52

- Load Range B (910 lbs): Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire - 205/65-10 # AM1HP50
