In order to find the correct electric brakes for your 1973 South Park 1700 you will need to identify what you currently have. Brakes typically correspond with axle capacity and need to match the brake flange bolt pattern as well as the size of the drum on your hub and drum assembly.
More than likely you have at least a 3,500 lb axle/axles on your travel trailer so we will start there. For a 3,500 lb 10" x 2-1/4" brake assembly that fits a 4 bolt brake flange you can use the # AKEBRK-35-SA. For hardware you can use the # BRKH10B. If you have a 5,200-7,000 lb axle then you can use the # AKEBRK-6. This is a 12" x 2" brake assembly that fits a 5 bolt brake flange. For hardware you could use the # BRKH12.
