Hitch, Bike Rack, Roof Rack, Kayak Carrier for 2022 Toyota Highlander LE
Question:
HR200Z C99FR These are the only two parts I need to make it work for my 2022 Toyota Highlander LE , correct? Will a kids bike fit on the Hollywood bike rack? My daughter has a Trek precaliber 20. Is the Hollywood bike rack easy to take on and off when I don't need it?

The Curt hitch part # C99FR is a really great option for a trailer hitch for a bike rack and would be what I would recommend as the best. It's mostly hidden and has great towing capacities plus is made in the USA.
The best bike rack for you will be the best one that fits your needs. Most people prefer the platform style bike racks as they are the easiest to load and carry the bikes in the most stable way. So one of my favorites is the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 which is lighter in weight, has a very easy to use frame clamp design, and also comes with a ramp that pulls out for easier loading and unloading of bikes. If you were wanting something more on the economical side the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider part # HR200Z is a great option that very stable and sturdy.
You can add crossbars to the flush rails that run front to back on your vehicle roof too with the Yakima roof rack part numbers # Y00425, # Y00148, and # Y66VR as well. This will give you ability to carry a kayak rack like the Thule Compass part # TH890000 for two of the kayaks and then part # TH834 for the third. Or if the boats are shorter you could use the Stacker part # TH830 for all of them.

Thank you so much for answering my questions. With the Curt trailer hitch, can I install this myself or do I need to go to a garage and have it installed? My car is leased, is this something I can un-install at the end of my lease and potentially install it on my next car? The Curt will fit my 2022 Toyota Highlader LE, correct? I have had other Thule products in the past and I know they are great quality, but just to haul around my own my bike and daughters bike here and there, I would think the Hollywood would do just fine, correct? Is the Hollywood just as easy to install and use? Is it something I install and leave on all summer? or take it off and on when we plan to go biking? thanks, Roof Rack question, what are advantages or disadvantages of getting the Yakima Roof Rack vs just buying cross bars from Toyota?
