There are two differences between the Curt # C13264 and the etrailer # e98905 Class III hitch for the 2022 Toyota Tacoma.
• The manufacturer's sticker
• The powder coat finish applied to the hitch
Curt manufactures the etrailer hitches for us. The only difference between the two is that the Curt hitch has a glossy powder coat finish, while the etrailer hitch has a matte finish. Other than the name on the sticker, this is the only difference. Both hitches are US made, both have the same install procedure and both have the exact same capacity.
In my opinion, the matte finish used on the etrailer # e98905 helps the hitch 'disappear' a little better under the vehicle, but you you're not concerned about the appearance of the finish, you can choose the less expensive of the two and not need to feel as if you've sacrificed anything by choosing the less-expensive option.
