Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2021 Subaru Outback Premium
Question:
I have a 2021 Subaru Outback Premium. Im interested in the Draw-Tite trailer hitch Item # DT73RR. My friend has used etrailer for a few of his vehicles now and highly recommends you for aftermarket hitches.

I would be happy to help you set your 2021 Subaru Outback Premium up with a trailer hitch. The Draw-Tite item # DT73RR you were looking at is a great hitch and is confirmed to fit your Subaru. However, it has a visible crossbar which hangs down below the frame. I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # DT74YR. This hitch mounts behind your rear bumper for a cleaner installation. The only portion visible will be the 2" x 2" receiver.
Some other parts you may need for towing are:
Wiring Harness - T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118467
Ball Mount - Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534
