How to Install the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs?

What is recommended - bolting on or welding on the 13703 to our fifth wheel? Is it recommended to do both for security and strength?

The instructions for the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs item # 13703 specifically detail how to bolt this hitch to your RV. The strength and capacity rating is based off of the assumptions that you will drill the required holes into your frame to attach the universal hitch as directed. It is not required to weld this hitch on or do any welding to correctly install the hitch if you are using the bolts. I have attached a video below of one of our technicians installing this hitch following the instructions and using only bolts.
