Where is Fuse for Trailer Wiring Harness Used on 2008 Acura RDX Installed
Question:
Where do I install the engine compartment fuse in a 2008 Acura RDX?

Expert Reply:
The Tekonsha # 118569 trailer wiring harness you'd looked at isn't a fit for a 2008 Acura RDX, it fits the 2013-2018 model.
For your 2008, you'd use either the Curt # 56008 or the Tekonsha # 118500. The 10A fuse included with the Tekonsha # 118500 or the Curt # 56008 installs in the inline fuse holder of the connector that plugs into the vehicle. The additional fuse included with the Tekonsha # 118500 isn't needed for the RDX installation, it's used if you're installing the harness on the Crosstour model.
