What 7-Way Harness and Hitch do You Recommend for My 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon?
Question:
what 7-way do you recommend for my 2022 Subaru Outback wagon?

Expert Reply:
For a great 7-way harness for your 2022 Subaru Outback wagon, it is important to have a 4-way harness installed first. If you need a 4-way harness, I recommend the T-One Connector # 118467. The Tekonsha harness is great because it comes with a superior converter box than the Curt # C56040.
Once the 4-way is installed, you are ready for the 7-way. That is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controllers - 7-Way # ETBC7. With this harness, you will need to splice into your current wiring. If you need help with the installation of these wiring harnesses, I went ahead and attached installation videos to give you perspective.
If you need a hitch receiver, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit # DT73RR. The reason why this is a great hitch is because it has the easiest installation process out of all hitches we carry for your vehicle. It also provides you with the highest weight capacity of any hitch we carry (675 tongue weight and 4500 pounds of max gross towing weight capacity).
