The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2013 Toyota Highlander is the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Hitch # 75726. This hitch offers a 2 inch receiver opening to accept a wide variety of hitch and towing accessories. You will want to check your owner's manual so as to not exceed your Highlander's towing capacity, but this hitch has a towing capacity of up to 5000 pounds with a tongue weight capacity up to 750 pounds. If you'll be using the hitch for towing purposes, you might need the following to complete your towing system:
