Do I Need Load Resistors For Each Light Replaced by a LED Light

Question:

We changed my exterior lights on my 2015 F350 from stock to LED and now my lights won’t turn on, i have to keep switching my light switch on and off to get them to turn on. We changed out the cab markers lights, fender markers and front lenses and bulbs and the rear break lights. The high and low lights have decoder and the break lights came with resistors. Do i need resistors for the cab and fender markers? If so which one?

Expert Reply:

LED lights draw less power than the incandescent lights you are replacing which can cause issues. You will want to use load resistors like Load Resistor Kit for LED # DI34ZR on each light you are replacing.
