On the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer - 66" # Y08106 the height from the ground to the top of the inside of the coupler where the ball sits is 22 inches so then from the bottom of the coupler lip to the ground measures 20 inches when the trailer sits level.

So if you are looking to pick out a ball mount to use with this trailer you'll want to measure from the ground to the top of the hitch opening and whatever the difference between what that dimension is and 20 is the rise/drop you need. Since you know you have a 17" measurement from the ground to the top of the receiver on your Subaru's hitch we'll subtract that from the 20 inch measurement which would leave you with 3" rise needed. For this you could use the Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3" Rise, 4" Drop - 8,000lbs - Aluminum # C84WR with a Curt 2" Hitch Ball # 40038.

As for the locks for your ball mount and for the trailer coupler you can use the Master Lock Hitch Receiver and Coupler Latch Lock Set - Padlock - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # 2848DAT which will come with pins/locks for both that keyed the same.

If you do not have a 4-way flat connector on the rear of your Subaru to send your lighting signals to the trailer then I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118467. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area, either behind the driver's-side trim panel or in the spare tire compartment. You will need to remove some interior paneling to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the connector, insert the provided fuse into the in-line fuse holder.

I've attached some videos that will offer some additional information on these components for you as well.
