Recommended Least Visible Trailer Hitch Receiver For a 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon

Which trailer hitch do I need for my 2022 Subaru Outback? I do not want anything that sticks out and looks out of place on my vehicle.

I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e25TR as being the most concealed receiver we offer for your 2022 Subaru Outback. This receiver has a hidden cross tube that will sit behind the bumper cover. It also has a matte black powder coating that will make it blend into the undercoating on your Subaru. The maximum tongue weight of this receiver is 350lbs with the maximum trailer weight being 3,500lbs. Be sure to check with your dealer for the maximum ratings for your specific Outback and do not exceed the lower number of the two ratings.
You will need a Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118467 to give you a 4-way flat connector. This connector will allow you to connect to the 4-way trailer harness found on most small trailers. As well as used with Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if you have a bike rack or cargo carrier that will block your tail lights on your Outback.
I recommend using the Curt Easy Mount Bracket # C58001 to secure your 4-way if you would rather run it outside the vehicle through one of the access holes in your Outback, rather than running it out the rear hatch each time you need to use it.
